The article below shows that between 2007 and 2017, black male graduates earned £7,000 less per year than their white counterparts. 

We have had a lot of Government intervention to try and close the gender pay gap - most notably, the mandatory obligation to report certain gender pay gap information if you are business of more than 250 employees. 

However, what about the race pay gap? The Equality and Human Rights Commission have already published a strategy on how to deal with this issue (which also covered pay gaps because of a disability) - however, is it now necessary to implement similar legislation to the gender pay gap reporting requirements, obligating businesses to publish their data, with a view to narrowing the gap?
